The meetings and event facilities at the Kempinski Hotel Chongqing are setting a new standard in hospitality and consist of a number of varying-sized rooms, which can cater for up to 500 guests. Designed with a modern, contemporary feel, the various spaces have been designed to be flexible and can support a wide variety of events from small business meetings to lavish weddings.

The hotel’s primary event space is their Grand Ballroom – a luxurious 650 square meter mixed-use venue, which can also be divided into two smaller rooms. As well as the tasteful décor, the room has been equipped with the latest audio/visual equipment and lighting systems, which include a number of RCL’s DR2 remote controlled luminaire.

The track-mounted fittings provide the hotel’s event staff with a simple way to spotlight tables at events such as gala dinners or birthday parties. RCL’s “Select & Direct” technology means that spotlight focusing can be done from floor level, without the use of ladders, scaffolding or mechanical lift, saving time and reducing the risk of injury.
